Eynsham Hall

About Project

At Eynsham Hall, we recently completed a meticulous cork flooring installation that showcases our dedication to craftsmanship. Initiating the process, the subfloor was carefully screeded to ensure a smooth and even base. Upon this primed surface, we methodically laid the cork tiles, ensuring precision and adherence. To enhance durability and bestow a matt finish, an initial layer of commercial lacquer was applied. Post this, an intermediate sanding was performed to refine the surface, ensuring it was flawless and ready for the final touch. Concluding our installation, a final coat of lacquer was applied, imparting a sleek finish and ensuring the longevity of the flooring. The result is a splendid cork floor, seamlessly integrated into the historic ambiance of Eynsham Hall.

Eynsham Hall is a good representation of English history, capturing both the architectural tastes of the early 20th century and the broader social and political changes of the 20th century, especially with its roles during the world wars.
